Exploring this can be a very rewarding process. We work with clients to help them find a better balance between their work and personal lives, between what they do and who they are, between ‘doing’ and ‘being’.

It gives us an opportunity to discover new insight into our life choices, where we find ourselves, and where we want to go next.

Sessions are availabile in English, Dutch and other languages.

We work face-to-face in London, and also work remotely offering online sessions.

The Background and Experience of your Coach & Therapist

Our careers and life has given us good insight in the challenges faced by people today in often high-pressure and demanding work and home environments and how difficult it can be to balance these with maintaining healthy personal, professional, relational and social lives. We all want to live full, interesting and active lives, yet can find that this is not always compatible or easily manageable with taking good care of our mental, physical, and emotional well-being. In addition, we aspire to find meaning in what we do which adds yet another layer to be satisfied amidst all the busy-ness.

By bringing gentle but sharper awareness to our thinking, behaviour, feelings and emotions, we can learn to connect again with the inner sense of healing and good-ness present in each of us.

Embarking on a process of greater self-understanding can be a daunting task at first but life always offers moments where such a journey calls us. The question then becomes one of courage and urgency: are we ready to engage and discover our truth or not?

Regardless of our background, current professional and personal situation, life presents challenges to all of us, more than ever at these current times. Most of us live lives that are too busy and we find ourselves struggling to juggle all our to-do's and want-to-do’s. On top of this, we might encounter particular difficulties at work or in our relationship. All of this can leave us feeling rather exhausted over time, lacking the energy and time to look deeper.

Coaching and therapy can be valuable opportunities to carve out some conscious space and time each week to explore more deeply what is bothering us, what doesn’t feel quite right, what is lacking in our lives and how we can find the resources, understanding, and strength to move forward, make changes if necessary, in the direction that is right for us.

This process requires a little bit of courage at the start but, once engaged, we tend to find a depth, great richness, and even unexpected joy in the gift we have given to ourselves. All we need to bring to it is a readiness and willingness to look and explore. The rewards present themselves in the form of feeling more resilientseeing more clearly, being able to engage with life more fully, and gaining an increased sense of freedom to make the choices that are right for us.

Step away from the hustle and bustle of life and find peace

Taking a little distance from our day-to-day life helps to see things in a new perspective. And what better place in London to do so than in Hampstead Heath, surrounding yourself with 790 acres of ancient woodland. Parliament Hill offers fantastic views of London and many life decisions have been made on those benches overlooking the city. The 18 ponds scattered over the Heath are simply beautiful, and the ladies’, mens’ and mixed swimming ponds are amazing for a fresh dip in the summer months. Kenwood House has a wonderful café to relax in and makes for a wonderful stop to replenish your body after a contemplative walk.

The consultation room in the London Borough of Camden is near Highgate, which makes for an easy visit to Fortess Road in Kentish Town. One of the popular shopping destinations of North West London for a little bit of innocent retail therapy. There's also an abundance of pubs and restaurants in the area, if you don't feel like cooking after your session. Or tug into a cosy little café and sit down with your journal to reflect on the questions your Coach/Therapist asked you, or to make some notes on the insights you've gained.

How many sessions would I need?

Good question. How long is a piece of string? We’ll begin with six coaching sessions, scheduled weekly, to kick-start your development. If that’s all you need depends on your desired destination, your current situation and the gap between those two.
